The purpose of reservations at Padobran is to provide a certain group of users with a guaranteed free resource in a given period. An example of use would be a practical lesson for which every 4 days it is necessary to provide 3 nodes for 10 students. Then a recurring reservation for the requested period and requested resources would be set for the group under which the classes are conducted.
Reservations cannot be submitted by the users themselves, but for the same it is necessary to request permission from the administrator. Reservations can be submitted by members of the hpc group, and it is up to them to assess the validity and justification of the request.
Requests for resource reservation are submitted by sending an e-mail to the address computing@srce.hr. The reservation request must be requested at least 10 days in advance.
