HPC (High Performance Computing) enables the execution of computationally demanding applications on a large number of processor cores or graphics processors, which do not necessarily have to be located on the same computer node. Applications thus gain access to an amount of resources that is not limited to one physical machine, because a fast local network enables communication between different nodes. There are applications available from various fields of application. The applications were delivered to the computer cluster, adapted and documented.
